Royal Umbrella Short Grain Rice is 100% cultivated in Chiang Rai, the northern most province in Thailand, which is chosen for the growing of Royal Umbrella Short Grain rice because of its good climate.  Between mid-October to end-February, the temperatures range from 13 to 25 degrees Celsius where it is suited for planting short-grain rice.  Royal Umbrella Short Grain Rice makes perfect option for sushi rice, onigiri, or anything that involves the molding of the rice. The rice is incredibly soft and fluffy.
